We are looking for an experienced Service Workshop Engineer to work in our workshop in Scotland.
We are looking for someone who has a background in welding along with knowledge and experience of working with commercial vehicles.

What you will be doing:
Carrying our Maintenance and repairs to tanker bodies and all associated equipment and systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuits
Carrying out servicing and repairs on both Whale and Non-Whale vehicles and completing sign offs
Post build fabrications & modifications of body equipment and associated parts
Carrying out welding repairs, completing your work in a timely and organised manner
Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area, and adhering to Health and Safety regulations
You will liaise with key departmental supervisors, coordinators, external customers and internal departments
Any other ad hoc duties associated with this role
We are looking for someone who has / is:
Knowledge and experience of working with commercial vehicles, plant machinery or HGV vehicles
An engineering background, including knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuits
A background in welding is desirable, but not essential
Strong problem-solving skills, with the desire to learn on a day-to-day basis
Practical and decisive nature with the ability to manage your own time
The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces would be desirable
